Mongoose Status Dual Suspension Bike Review?
Hi All,
I need a decent bike to ride around The Woodlands here in Tx for fun and excercise. I may use it up north on the Huntsville State Park trails. Tell me what you think or if there is another bike similar for the price. I have had a Mongoose from Walmart and it took the trails fine so I am not to worried about that. The idea of being stranded does worry me but I can’t afford more atm. maybe nxt year.
Things I like:
suspension – rides good, looks cool –
Disc – I just gotta have it. Front n Rear

ok first thing im gunna say to you is NEVER buy a bike from a department store they are cheaply made and are assembled with little care. The bike might look good and might be priced like a decent bike would be but you will realized what they are really worth when you are walking home on a flat tire, looses headset, broken brake, or anything else that could and most likely will go wrong with a target bike. If you dont have a bike store near you, you can try sports authority, they hav OK bikes that cost prob just as much as this mongoose. If you dont listen and do buy the mongoose im just gunna warne you the shocks will break on a hard jump and will send you flying past your handle bars. Try buying a colombia trail head sport pretty much the same thing but is a hardtail. Well good luck and dont buy that mongoose!
