A few shots with my New GoPro2 on my helmet… I forgot my Screw to connect the Camera to the helmet… used the Slime multitool I bought that day to jury-rig it! Dec 29 2011

SimplyTrustedGuide.com — How to Mountain Bike Downhill STEP 1 Practice starting and stopping on gradual hills to become acquainted with your bike. STEP 2 Brake primarily with your rear brake. Lightly press your brake in and out, called “fluttering,” instead of slamming it down. STEP 3 Flutter front and rear brakes in steep spots. STEP 4 Relax. Keep your legs and arms loose as you descend to absorb the bumps smoothly. STEP 5 Keep your weight on your pedals, not the seat. Suspend your rear end over the seat to avoid unexpected jolts. STEP 6 Keep your weight back on steep hills. STEP 7 Wse the momentum of your speed to fly over smaller rocks and roots once you become more comfortable. Im trying to get a mountain bike for my boyfriend in the 0 and less range. We live in the mountains and go to college and hes been wanting a good bike he can go trail riding with and for campus. Is this a good bike and any suggestions would be nice! Thanks!

I’m looking for a sturdy comfortable hybrid or mountain bike good for beginners that will not break down easily and will last me years of casual riding to the park, hills, potholed streets, no mountains nor any real rugged terrain nor any racing and I will on average bike maybe once a week so I don’t need a high end bike.

Can anyone with bike knowledge help me out. Is this a good deal?

With the coupon and shipping it comes out to 6.98. The http://www.mtbr.com/cat/older-categories-bikes/2003-hardtail/mongoose/rockadile-al/PRD_361565_1510crx.aspx ratings are for their older models years ago but seem to suggest a sturdy frame and overall good bike.

If this is not a good deal, is there somewhere else I can get a good bike for under 0? If it is a good deal I will be ordering a large. I am 6 feet tall and 165 pounds.

Thanks a lot.

Hey everybody, I’m looking into buying a mountain bike for taking it on trails, uphill and downhill on steep hills/mountains (I live in Scotland). So far I’ve narrowed it down to these but if you have any better suggestion I’ll gladly consider them :)
